Perinatal bereavement : our support in Belgium

When parents contact us and tell us about their loss, we offer them (without any obligation) a small box containing a fabric star made by a parent volunteer and several bracelets identical to the one that can be delicately tied to the baby’s wrist. This symbolises the bond that unites them.

The box contains a short poem and the contact details of several support organisations. We can also slip in the child’s fingerprints and a lock of hair (if possible and desired).

This approach has been developed in consultation with psychologists, bereaved parents, gynaecologists and specialist non-profit organisations.

Contact us to organise a sweet ceremony, which can be held in the location of your choice (forest, private location, ceremony room, church, etc.).
